The " procession of Notre-Dame of Agony " is surely the most touristic event in the city. This religious celebration is reknown in the whole region, for the tourists but also the participants. During these few days, the city becomes a huge stage, with a large variety of familial, cultural and religious activities.

Stroll in the small streets with the sound of  "bombos" (these drums ring in all the city, on walls), admire the bridge fireworks, reflecting on the Lima river, welcome flower decorated boats on the docks, follow the procession in the streets and enjoy the funfair and its shops, installed for the occasion next to the ocean.
